Your first visit with Dr. Varadi will consist of a detailed health history and complaint-oriented physical exam. Your individualized treatment program will be created after your first visit.

The goal is to support the onset and maintenance of sleep. This involves regulating the sleep cycle and removing any barriers to recovery.

Treatments Used

Dietary Modification: A healthy diet is paramount to the maintenance of good health. Incorporating nutritious foods can go a long way in improving overall health and well-being.

Nutritional Supplementation: Nutrients enable the body to function optimally. Deficiencies in these nutrients can lead to a variety of health concerns.

Western Herbal Medicine: This involves the use of plant extracts as medicine. Plants have been used for millennia in the treatment of many conditions.

Injection Therapy: Needles are inserted, with or without small doses of biological substances, under the skin, or into the muscles, to stimulate the body's own healing capabilities. 

Lifestyle Counseling: This involves a discussion of ways to minimize stress and achieve emotional well-being.

**Breathing conditions, such as sleep apnea, can cause insomnia. These conditions may best be treated with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). A Naturopathic Doctor cannot prescribe this type of therapy. CPAP, and related sleep devices, can only be prescribed by a medical doctor at a sleep clinic.
